Aimed to align closer with the bohemian vibe of this particular stretch of Venice Boulevard, the comprehensive renovation project sought to breathe new life into the existing hotel in Venice, California. One key aspect of the transformation centered around the renovation of the entry sequence, wherein the existing portecochere underwent a significant overhaul. The objective was to seamlessly integrate it as an extension of the more internalized lobby and restaurant program. By reimagining the portecochere, we aimed to create a more cohesive and immersive experience for guests from the moment they arrive, setting the tone for the unique atmosphere within.

In addition to the structural changes, the renovation also embraced the vibrant art and cultural scene of Venice, California. Notably, the project included the commissioning of captivating wall murals throughout the hotel. These artistic expressions served not only to enhance the visual appeal of the space but also to extend the overall emphasis on art and culture, further solidifying the boutique hotel’s identity. The carefully curated murals contribute to the immersive ambiance, adding a touch of local flair and character to the renewed hotel, making it a distinctive and culturally rich destination in the heart of Venice.
